Doing a boudoir photoshoot was one of the most transformative experiences I’ve had. When I first shared my plans with friends and family, the reactions were pretty predictable: curiosity, surprise, and the assumption that it was all about sex. Questions like, “Who’s it for?” “Won’t it be awkward?” and “Are you going to be naked?” flooded in. While those questions made sense, for me, the shoot wasn’t about any of that.
