#1 Where is your studio located?

My main studio is located in the lower level of my home in a quiet area in Roseville. This space has been rocking out the Whimsy Boudoir life since the very beginning. All of the art you find in my Boudoir Gallery is created in this space. For couples and if you request, I do have an available space located in Grosse Point, Mi. Don’t worry, you will still have the mesmerizing Whimsy Style 😘.

#2 Is fine art nude different from traditional boudoir photography?

I’m glad you asked this question! Yes! while traditional boudoir photography focuses more on sensuality and intimate moments, fine art nude often leans towards a more artistic and abstract representation of the nude form.

#3 I’ve never done this before, do I have to have experience

Not at all! Our goal at Whimsy Boudoir is to make everyone feel comfortable and safe in front of the camera, regardless of your experience level. Don’t worry! #4 I’m really nevous can I bring a friend with me?

Absolutely! We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your own hype team by your side (besides me). So bringing a friend or partner is always welcomed. I have a comfortable space located just outside the studio where your co-pilot can hang out.

#5 Are my images kept private?

This is an amazing boudoir question that I take very seriously. Here at Whimsy Boudoir, we pride ourselves in making sure our clients are not only comfortable, but also safe from start and even after their session is complete. You will have the option to keep your images private, semi- private or empower the world. The decision is totally up to you and I will stand by it 100%!

#6 Do you offer hair and make up?

You bet ya! Every session includes complementary professional hair and make up. Don’t worry, our glam team will work with you to insure we make your dream look come to life.

#7 What about products like albums and wall art?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of high-quality product collections options so you can look back on your sexy AF self! Now I know what you may be thinking…”Wall art, no way!!” Hear me out! Ever gone to a store and saw a pair of red lips and thought to yourself “I need that!” Now imagine those lips are YOURS! Most of my clients choose a collection with a wall art included so they can have one of their anonymous images displayed in their home and no one will know it’s you (unless you want them too 😉)

#8 What about digital images? Do you offer those as well?

#9 Do you offer payment plans?

Boudoir is an investment in yourself and I want to make it available to everyone. That’s why I created flexible in-house payment plans that allow you to selected your desired collection. Check out our investment page for all the nitty gritty.

#10 How far in advance should I book my session?

Depending on the collection you choose for your boudoir experience. We recommend you book your photography session 6-8 weeks before you need or want your products. This allows plenty of time for albums to be made and shipped straight to the studio. All products are shipped to the studio because I personally want to make sure you are receiving the best of the best. No duds over here!

#11 are there any Boundaries I should know about?

This boudoir question should probably be #1 on the list, but I digress. At Whimsy Boudoir we have very few boundaries one of them being we do not partake in erotica. I have a list of recommendations for other photographers in the area that specialize in this area. All that means is I do not photograph penetration of any kind. This is a whole different specialty that I have not explored yet. For male clients I do ask that pants/briefs stay on during the whole duration of your session.
