Hey there, gorgeous human! It’s Kelli. The face (and maybe the messy bun) behind Whimsy Boudoir. Let me tell you, being a boudoir photographer isn’t all nipple pasties and baby oil (although there might be some of that on shoot days!).
Between wrangling my three amazing (and sometimes hurricane-force) daughters, battling the monster that is the laundry pile, and homeschooling like a champ, this mama is one busy bee. Oh, and did I mention the constant internal battle for bathroom supremacy? Four girls, one bathroom – you do the math!
But here’s the thing: even with the chaos, the coffee addiction that fuels my creativity (seriously, send caffeine donations!), and the ever-present desire for another bathroom, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. Why? Because I get to spend my days capturing beauty in all its forms.
Past trauma
Now, full disclosure: it wasn’t always sunshine and self-love rainbows. I spent way too long battling bullies and feeling insecure about my weight and looks. It took a lot of work (and maybe a gallon or two of good therapy) to get to the place where I can genuinely believe that every single body is a masterpiece, a work of art deserving of celebration.

And that’s where Whimsy Boudoir comes in. See, I don’t just preach body positivity – I live it. In fact, I wanted to truly understand the experience I offer my clients, so I took the plunge and did a boudoir shoot myself.
Let me tell you, it was a revelation! Suddenly, I saw my curves, my laugh lines, the way my body carried the stories of motherhood, in a whole new light. It was empowering, liberating, and frankly, a whole lot of fun!
So, the next time you’re feeling a little down on yourself, remember this: you are gorgeous, just the way you are.
